Geek Fuel EXP Vol #1 - the start of a beautiful relationship

Geek Fuel EXP Vol. #1 Geek Fuel Quarterly Plan - $57.00/qtr. + $8 S&H 2 Quarter Plan - $55.00/qtr. + $8 S&H Annual Plan - $53.00/qtr. + $8 S&H Multi-Month plans are charged all at one time. So just be aware of that.  I've been missing a geek box in my life, but I was not missing all the random junk that came along with it. One by one, I said goodbye. Loot Crate, Comic-Con Box (which is now out of business) and finally Geek Fuel.  I survived on a diet of beauty subscriptions, but still longed for a little geek in my life. Like they knew what I needed, Geek Fuel went and seduced me with a new EXP quarterly box.  It was guaranteed to be bigger, better and have a value of over $100. I was smitten. I jumped on the chance to have a geek box back in my life. I worried that I was just going to be let down when I saw the franchise spoilers. However, I am happy to report, that I am not disappointed. I love almost everyt...

June Ipsy Glam Bag

The beginning of the end... My birthday has come and gone. The presents were fabulous and I got my Ipsy a few days after. Another treat. If you read my spoiler review, and of course you did, right? Anyway, if you read that, you know that I'm not happy with Ipsy anymore. The bags have been fine, but I've on overload with product right now and something has to give.  I had decided to cancel my Allure subscription, but they offered me my next 4 boxes for 10 each! I will give them 4 more chances. The special Kat Von D box - is shit. More on that in another post.  I've paused my Ipsy for a month. It has nothing to do with money, all about me hoarding the products and not using. Allure didn't offer the chance to pause, so they just got cancelled. I will see if I miss Ipsy in July. It auto-starts back up in August, so we'll see how this trial separation goes. Let's take a closer look at what I got. The Bag: I mentioned in the spoiler review that I w...

June Ipsy Glam Bag Spoilers

The spoilers are in! June is my favorite month of the year. Why? Its summer and its my birthday month.  Warm weather baby! Dance it out... Unfortunately, I am coming to a cross roads with Ipsy. I think this might be our swan song. Its not a cost issue, its a space of products issue. I have so many samples now, its just too much. I need to cut a few out of my rotation until I use up some of the products. I just started Yes Oh Yas, so I am not ready to give them up yet. I think it is going to come down to Allure and Ipsy. I think the past few months have been just okay and I might be ready for a break.  Let's take a closer look at what I'm getting. The Bag: Ugh. The design of this bag leaves a lot to be desired. At least it looks like I'm getting the pink color rather than the yellow. I am not a pink fan, but the other bag is just ugly. The past few months that bags have not been the best. Another deciding factor in my taking a break, I'm drowning in bags. I hav...
