Spring has finally sprung. It has been a while. I am so sorry. I needed to take a break from writing and just be. As you remember, the last time we talked about all things Ipsy, I was going to end my relationship with them.   I tried to pause and realized a beautiful thing. Ipsy has a bi-monthly plan. My want to separate came mostly from an overabundance of product in my home. Having the ability to skip every other month was perfect for me. It gave me the chance to both use some of the product I already had and miss getting it every month. I will remain on every other month plan for the next few months and see what happens.  Let's take a closer look at my April bag. The Bag: It is springtime, FINALLY. Warmer weather is starting. The gentle hum of a lawn mower hangs in the air. This bag celebrates that feeling. It's super cute. I love the yellow and white bag. I smell spring flowers and lemonade when I look at it and dream of the sun shining on my face....

I've been really thinking about scaling back on the beauty products. Have you guys heard of Influenster? They are a product discovery community.  You engage with others just like you. Read online reviews of products you've been dying to try out. Ask the other 4.5 million community members what they think of a new beauty line. You can also test products. Connect your social media accounts and increase your impact score to be "in" on vox boxes. Influenster will send you free samples of products and all you have to do is review online and post on your social media your honest reviews of the products. I've gotten a few vox boxes before. The Allure Beauty Box usually ties in my opinion with Ipsy as the best beauty box. When I think about getting rid of one or the other, I can never decide and I end up keeping both. However, the last few months have been massive fails for me. I threatened to leave and they offered to give me 4 months at $10/each.  You know how to keep a customer.  When this arrived, I knew it had to be something special because it was SOOO heavy! I was not disappointed when I opened the box. The card this month was no longer on that heavy card stock, which I appreciate.
