Smuggler's Bounty: Droids Unboxing

Patch & Pin

Each month, Smuggler's Bounty comes with a cool patch and a pin. I currently have the patches thumb-tacked to my bulletin board in my office. The pins are being featured on my jean jacket. Will either look incredibly awesome, or I will achieve the lady nerd status I've been striving for all my life! 😂 This month our favorite protocol & astromech droids C3-P0 and R2-D2. A battle droid "Roger, Roger" is featured on the pin.

Funko Pop! Vinyl: R5-D4

To be honest, I have no idea who this droid is. I think its the droid that blew a gasket on Tatooine at Luke's farm in the sale from the Jawa's. I'm going to go look it up right now and see how wrong I am. One second... IT IS. I remembered. Holy shit! Little happy dance. So I am of two minds on my Funko's. There are some that I unbox and some that I don't. All of my Harry Potter ones are out of the box and arranged in a little scene. All of the other ones are in their boxes and I have a rule of two. I must have two of any franchise. I currently only have Morty from Rick and Morty and its bugging me so much! I temporarily uboxed the droids to show you some of the detail work on them.

The detail on this little guy is fantastic. He looks a little worse for the wear. His head is a bobble - so be careful when you take him out of the package. 

T-Shirt: R2-D2 & BB-8

Straight from The Force Awakens this month's shirt features the moment the two droids come together to complete the map that will lead to Luke Skywalker. I love this shirt! It's adorable. The fit is great. This is a 2X. I like a bigger t-shirt. Ladies that have larger breastises sometimes like a bigger shirt so the girls are not too restrained. Although, I am on a self-imposed weight-loss journey and it might be time to take my shirts down to a 1X. You can read more about my journey here.

Funko Pop! Vinyl: C3-P0 (unfinished)

A second Pop! Really! And OMG... I love this so much. It's a prequel funko. I'm so excited. This C3-P0 made his appearance in Episode I: The Phantom Menance. He was the early creation of Anakin Skywalker. Anakin never finished him. He left tatooine to become a Jedi. starwars.wikia.com/wiki/C-3PO
I mean come on! Look at the detailing. The exposed wires and the golden eyes. Amazing. He's got little brass colored plates, but he's not finished. What a great idea for a Pop!.

Will I continue to subscribe?

Absolutely! I loved this box. This is my 4th box with Smuggler's Bounty and I have not been dissapointed yet. However, I feel this has a ticking clock on it. I can only fit so many Funko's in my house and will have to at some point either sacrifice old belongings to make room for more figures, or let the subscription go. I have no idea what will come first.
