February Glam Bag

I'm not loving this bag. Its a pale pink color and has a lace border. I'm not a pink fan and if you look close, my bag has a stain on it.  I have no idea where the stain came from, I've had it in the package since it came. Oh well, fail. What the heck! The products enclosed, I'm torn on. ​Score: 2/5 Its pink and it has a stain. Boo.

Biobelle - Perfecting Primer Facial Mask

Interesting, this face mask is a primer. I don't really use primer, I'm pretty simple when it comes to make-up. I will give this a chance though. I got two of them. Score: 3/5 This is a new interesting product for me. I am curious as to how this works.

Marsk Eyeshadow - Foiled Again

Loose eyeshadow. Sigh. These annoy me.  Look how much I spilled just trying to get a picture. They get everywhere. The color is just okay. I'm not super impressed by it. I will probably not use it as it always makes a mess. A shiny silvery shade, just wish it wasn't loose. ​Score: 3/5 Loose, ugh. Scores low because its messy.

Luxie Beauty - Blending and Shading Brush 249

Another brush!  I got the 239 Luxie brush in December. If this is a trend, keep it coming. I really like Luxie brushes. This dual sided brush has very soft bristles. I used it this past weekend with my naked heat and heavy metallic palettes. ​Score: 5/5 Always love a brush!

OFRA Liquid Lipstick - ipsy Unzipped

What a beautiful color. It takes quite a few applications to get an even color. It didn't swatch well, as you can see below. I really like this color. Ipsy created this color with OFRA. Nice job. Its beautiful. ​Score: 4/5 Only because it does take a few layers, do I give this a 4. Its creamy and feels great on the lips, but takes too many layers.

Trestique Mini Eye Pencil - Swiss Chocolate

When they say mini, they mean mini. Its so little. Another beauty box, another eye pencil. Just like in January's box here is another eye product. I'm not sure what else I would like to see but I really do need some variation soon. Score: 3/5 Another eye product, snore. Great coverage but boring.

Swatches

At first glace, the lip color is beautiful. That swatch was after 4 coats. Took too many to get that look.

The loose eyeshadow is nice and glittery but wow it makes a mess, look at the fall out around the swatch itself.

The liner is nice, glides on smooth, it does smudge a little though as you can see at the top of the test.




Final Thoughts

After the great month that was January, I was really looking forward to February. I got a little less excited when I saw the spoilers for the bag. I just don't like lace or pink. Then to have a bag I wasn't excited for have a stain on it. Boo. Sad. Thumbs down. I love the brush. That's about the best I can say for the bag. I love the brush!
