The time has finally come for me to bid Geek Fuel adieu. I've kept it this long because they generally have great t-shirts. However, month over month, I've been losing the love for them. They have not included franchises that I care about. This month was the final draw. The value of the box was not there.

T-Shirt: Prime

This month's t-shirt was nice, but that's just it, it was nice. Not great. Our favorite Auto-Bot that has been slowly destroyed by Michael Bay takes center stage. The shirt just yells PRIME at your face and all I hear in my mind is Shia screaming Optimus and then I stick my chest out and BOOM PRIME!

2018 Exclusive Member Pin / Convention Lanyard Set:

Geek Fuel Exclusive

Calling something a "Geek Fuel Exclusive" doesn't mean it is not shit. This pin and lanyard set came in a huge box. I was kind of excited to see what was in the box, then the disappointment flooded in. Every month Geek Fuel gives you an enamel pin. I have an entire box of them. I don't know what to do with them. Should I pin them all over my Denim Jacket.

I'm totally going to pin them all over my denim jacket. This month however, the pin is just a Geek Fuel logo pin. I'm absolutely not going to put that on my jacket. 😃

If you want to win the pin and lanyard set, leave a comment below with the best use of an enamel pin.

Monthly Steam Game - The Marvellous Miss Take

You also get a steam game in the box each month. This is also an item that I don't enjoy. I usually give them away on my podcast or I give them to my sister's boyfriend. I don't use Steam. Never will. So this item is a bust for me as well.

Video Game Premium Notebook

This is a variant item. You could have received 1 of five possible notebooks. I do think I got the best of the bunch. It is a beautiful notebook that I can't wait to start using. The packaging of the notebook is pretty great, if not entirely wasteful. I don't know why it had to come in a box, but they put it in a mock NES game cartridge style box. Adorable. Wasteful.

Score: 4/5 - would be a five if the out packaging wasn't a total waste.

Final Thoughts:

And that is all she wrote folks. That is all that is in this months box. No trinkets. No Funko or figure. A shirt, a notebook and a pin. Huh. Okay. I guess it is only 26 and some change. That's pretty much the value of the t-shirt.

The time has come for me to move on. I have so many t-shirts right now. I have maxed out space for Funko's. It is just time to step away.

Geek Fuel was the last surviving geek box that I was getting. If you guys know of one I should try, let me know in the comments below.

Final Score: 2/5 - They are getting 1 point each for the t-shirt and the notebook.  Otherwise this box is a total miss.
