Sunday Riley C.E.O. Rapid Flash Serum

Look at the size of this sample and it is heavy! I don't know if the weight comes from the glass bottle or the product, but I'm impressed either way.  This serum is supposed to brighten your dark spots and make your pores smaller. I will have to really look at my face and see where I might want to use this.  Score: 4/5 - Nice size sample, but not sure the product will be something I want to use. Full size is a whopping $85! Guess I will make this one stretch.

Frédéric Fekkai One Texturing Spray

Another great product. My Ulta stylist (who is leaving me!) used this on my during my last trip and I'm so happy to have just a sample size. I will use it sparingly. It gives wonderful texture to you hair without that sticky, tacky feeling. I am in love with this spray. You can buy it at Fekkai.com (if anyone wants to get me a birthday present! 😃 Score: 5/5 Turns out that you could receive either this or a dry shampoo. Ya'll know how I feel about dry shampoos.  So glad I got the texturizing spray. Full size is $29. ​

Philosophy Purity Made Simple One-Step Facial Cleanser

I enjoy thisworks! products. The sample size are always ample. This one, I might have gotten before, but I honestly try so many things, I'm not sure. This is a multi-purpose product. A mask, moisturizer and primer! Seriously?  How can it do all those things? I can't wait to find out. I will try this next time I go out. It smells good, feels okay on the skin. My skin doesn't like heavy products. It tends to revolt, so its good that this is lightweight.  Score: 4/5 I'm curious, and that's a good thing. This was also a variant item. I'm glad i got this instead of some of the other choices. Full size is $55! I'm not cheap, but I am!

Makeup For Ever Liquid Matte in Rosewood

This lipstick is so little! The wand is bigger than the bottle. I tried this one night when I went out, it rolled off the bathroom counter and under the cabinet. I found it after I had taken all my pictures for the box and had to go back and do it again.  Beautiful matte color, looks great on. Here is the issue, I have 15 other lippies this color. I wish I was kidding, but I'm not. I just gave away a bunch that I had swatched and never used. Score: 3/5 - nothing wrong with it - but I’m not jumping for joy. Full size is $20.

Rodial Smokey Eye Pen

Zzzzz. Zzzzz. Huh, what's that, oh its another eyeliner. I used to say I would never complain about eyeliners in my beauty boxes. I was wrong. I have too many now. I don't want anymore. This one is fine. Great coverage, feels good on. Throw it in the travel bag.  Score: 3/5 - Its fine. Full size is $21.

Swatches

The lippie is gorgeous, but like I said, its one of many of that color. Come on beauty boxes, give me some COLOR! The smokey eye pen, also good, but boring.

Final Thoughts This is a good box. Not great, but good.  Score: 3/5 - There were some hits and some misses. Not a terrible box, but its not a home run for me.
