March Glam Bag

A DIY bag. Neat. This is a really clever idea. Where they failed were the variants on the markers. Why not just include 4 basic colors. Red, Blue, Green, Red. Instead - I got saddled with Orange and Green. Nope. I'd rather leave it black and white. The size of the bag is really nice. There is a ribbon tie on the zipper. I have zero complaints on the bag itself this month. ​Score: 4/5 If the marker colors had been better, I would have given it a 5.

Vasanti Brush - Ipsy Points Extra

I had built up a great many points. Month after month I would look at the rewards and not find anything I wanted. Then came this lovely Vasanti shade brush. Its a gray metallic shade and the bristles are so soft. An absolute win! Score: 5/5

BRTC Jasmine Waterful Foaming Cleanser

Another face wash? Oh boy! I swear I've gotten this before in a box and still haven't tried it. My daisy wheel of products is out of control. I really need to use one a day until they are gone. It could be a blog post. Hmmm... Ideas. This foaming cleanser smells great. My skin is very picky, so I'm not sure how this will work for me, but its supposed to remove your make-up easily. It might be a travel bag item. ​Score: 3/5 Only a middle score because I'm kind of tired of face products.

Doucce Freematic Eyeshadow in Ariana

I got a Doucce Freematic mini palette in my Allure early on. I love every time I get another one to swap out. Recently in my FabFitFun, I received a full size freematic pallet. Woooo.  Here I have a new color that I've never seen before. This beautiful bronze color is rich and creamy.  It also has a shimmery tone to it. ​Score: 5/5 Another pan for my pallet.

Rodial Glamobrow in Dark Ash Brown

Ugh... Another brow product. I guess I need to update my profile. I really don't like brow products. They don't look good on me, no matter who uses it. It makes it look like sharpie. I like the spooly on the end. Maybe I'll keep it for that. ​Score: 2/5 So tired of getting brow products. Tarte Cosmetics Sex Kitten Eyeliner I was really excited when I pulled this out of the bag. I like Tarte products. Either that, or I'm condition by their marketing to believe that I like Tarte products. I was immediately disappointed when I swatched this eyeliner next to the Eyeko liner that came in my Allure box. The Eyeko was smooth and vibrant and didn't smudge at all.  The Tarte, looks like crayon and is kind of streaky. It is a little unfair to judge them side by side - because one is a liquid eyeliner and the other is a pencil, but I'm doing it anyway. Its all on what I will wear and this  pencil just doesn't match the liquid eyeliner. It just doesn't. ​Score: 2/5 I'm so sad. This was one product that I was super excited about. I will try it and see if it stands up better to regular usage than it does the swatch test. I'm not very hopeful though. I didn't like how it caught on my skin when I pulled it across the back of my hand.

Dirty Little Secret Cosmetics

This baked highlighter is really pretty. You can see how shimmery it is below in the swatches section. I am not one to usually wear a highlighter, but I'm going to give this one a try. It is so blinding! You could receive one of 3 varities: Prosecco, Belini and Soda Pop. I believe I got Prosecco.  Score: 4/5 This is a great highligter, even though I don't use highlighters, I'll give it a try.

Here are swatches of this months products. The only let down is the eyeliner. 

The eyeliner does look like I either burned myself or some kind of really bad bruise. We'll see how these work on my face.

Final Thoughts

Not bad. That is how I feel about March. This bag was not bad. It doesn't really stand out and it won't rank among my all-time favorites. Its a nice middle ground bag.
