Monthly beauty subscription service. Subscribers receive 5 beauty items per month (travel and full-size products). The box is $15/month and ships for free.
The Allure Beauty Box usually ties in my opinion with Ipsy as the best beauty box. When I think about getting rid of one or the other, I can never decide and I end up keeping both. However, the last few months have been massive fails for me. I threatened to leave and they offered to give me 4 months at $10/each. You know how to keep a customer.
When this arrived, I knew it had to be something special because it was SOOO heavy! I was not disappointed when I opened the box. The card this month was no longer on that heavy card stock, which I appreciate. Look at all that came in this months box! We received 8 (!!!) products this month! I am blown away.
Sunday Riley - Luna Sleeping Night Oil

This Luna Sleeping oil does feel nice on the skin. Its a retinol product, so I was worried it would make my naturally dry/oily skin more dry and more oily. So far, it has not done that. I will continue to use and see how it goes.
Score: 3/5 I will not try apart from this sample. The full size is $105 dollars. That sound you hear, that's me laughing. Sorry Sunday Riley, too rich for my blood.
Feel Harmony - Rose Petal Facial Mask
This is in my travel bag to try while I'm on vacation. I put the littlest bit on my finger and rubbed into my hand. It felt smooth and silky. Smelled pleasant as well.
The magazine says to pop this in the fridge, so as soon as I get to my vacation destination, its going in the fridge.
Score: 5/5 - If this wasn't so expensive, it might make it into my routine, but at $55 for the full-size, I'm not sure I can afford it. This is often a recurring theme among the Allure products.
Doucce - Ultra Precision Eyeliner in Blue & Make Up Forever Artist Color Pencil
What color! I love Doucce products. I've gotten them in various boxes over the years. From FabFitFun palettes. To Ipsy singles. The brand does not disappoint.
Once again, they have another winner here. This Eyeliner is a gorgeous color of blue that will make your eyes pop! It slides on easily and has long lasting wear.
The Make-Up Forever artist pencil is also amazing, it glides on perfectly and you can use it for so many different looks and applications. These are both a hit and staple in my travel bag now.

Score: 5/5 Great color and easy application - WIN! Full-size $22 & $18 Affordable.
Derma- E Essentials Mineral Powder

This is a great setting powder, but the level of makeup I wear, I just don't need products like these. I will probably give this to my sister.
Score: 4/5 - Nothing wrong with this, just not for me. Full-size is $21.95.
Ouai Haircare - Leave In Conditioner
In the Austin, TX heat, I took along this leave in conditioner to help my hair battle the humidity. It did a fairly good job. I didn't look like Monica on that episode of friends in Hawaii. Ha. Ha. This lovely formula will keep your frizz under control.
Score: 5/5 I could bath in this conditioner. Ouai, will you marry me? I live for your products! Full-size $26.
The Organic Pharmacy - Antioxidant Lip Balm

With Shea butter, rose hip, and vitamin E, this balm will keep your lips looking and feeling good!
Score: 5/5 Great product. Full-size is $21.50 - that is a bit pricey in my opinion.
Olay Regenerist Whips - Free Sample

The pot is a decent size that will properly allow you to try the product. I love the feel of this regenerist cream. It will make your skin feel nice and smooth. The claims are true - it does absorb into the skin quickly. I can't wait to give this a full try!
Score: 5/5 Love it! There is no description in the magazine, so not sure of the full size price.
Final Thoughts
Wow, the box was jam packed this month. I appreciate it. I was on the cusp of leaving.
Score: 4.5/5 - This is an amazing box. I will continue on and I'm looking forward to August.
