As you know, I've been missing a geek box in my life, but I was not missing all the random junk that came along with it. One by one, I said goodbye. Loot Crate, Comic-Con Box (which is now out of business) and finally Geek Fuel. I decided to re-add Geek Fuel after they added a quarterly subscription.

As my sole geek provider, I'm really expecting a lot from them and I'm a little disappointed with this box. That's probably why its taken me so long to write about it. I got this box back in August, but I just wasn't ready to write about it. It is not that there is anything wrong with the box, I just don't love the contents. 
Let's take a closer look at what we got.

T-Shirt: Ant-Man T-Shirt "Pym-Pin Ain't Easy" Geek Fuel EXP Exclusive

I finally got around to watching Ant-Man and Wasp and all I can really say is... meh. Its how I felt about the first one. I'm just not all that interested in their story. I love the cast, I'm just underwhelmed by the storylines.
I do enjoy this shirt though. The colors are incredible and it really pops. Its super soft and comfy as well. So even though I'm not a fan of the movies or the comics, I'm a fan of this shirt.

Space Invaders Embroidered Crew Socks - Geek Fuel EXP Exclusive

I'm going to give these away as a Christmas present. I guess it's nice to not have to shop for someone, but I would have preferred an item I could use. 
I hate socks that come in these geek boxes, they never fit me. The theme is neat and I love the pattern, but they just don't work for me.

Predator Bobble Head - Geek Fuel EXP Exclusive

Here we have an amazing Christmas present for another friend. Are you sensing a theme with the contents of this box? 

I don't mind getting figures once in a while, but this box contains two. I will only keep one of them. I'm not a predator fan, so this one goes in the Christmas pile. 
The painting and detail on the figure are intense. I didn't get the rare variant that glows in the dark. :( that might have been a selling point to keeping it.

Rick and Morty (Bonus Item) "New Space Cruiser" Air Freshener Geek Fuel EXP Exclusive

I love it! I am a huge fan of Rick and Morty. I actually hung this in my car shortly after I took this picture. The scent was not overwhelming. It did have a new car scent. 
Since I'm writing this so long after I received the box, I can tell you, it no longer smells. It stopped smelling like a new space cruiser about 2 weeks after I hung it. I like the look of it - so it joined my tardis as used fresheners. 
Sooner or later, I'll have to take them down. lol.

Spider-Man #1 Comic Cover - Classic Canvas Art Geek Fuel EXP Exclusive

I was so hoping that this would be an ongoing item in the boxes. This is the second in the series and it quickly joined Wolverine in my master bath.
They are high-quality canvas art and look fantastic on the wall. I can't wait to see what is next.

Salt and Pepper "Super Shakers" Geek Fuel EXP Exclusive

Another addition to the Christmas pile. There is nothing wrong with this item, its just not something I currently need and I know a certain friend that would adore this.  
These salt and pepper shakers look like Mario and Luigi hats, which make them super awkward to hold. I'm not sure how functional they will end up being.

Epistory Typing Chronicles - Steam Game

Each box contains a steam game. Ugh. I never use them and I try to give them away. No one ever wants them anymore. 
I don't even understand what this game is about. You ride a giant fox and fight corruption.

QMX Exclusive "X-Force" Deadpool Figure Geek Fuel EXP Exclusive

The Q Figs are absolutely adorable and this is no exception. Look how cute Deadpool is. He's taking a selfie with a freaking unicorn! I love it.

The colors are fantastic and yes that's a painting of my dog in the background. lol. 

This is a Q-Fig that I will keep and display somewhere in the house.

Final Thoughts:

I'm glad this box is quarterly, but I wish they would up the fandoms a little. Doctor Who, Star Wars, Buffy, Farscape, Avengers, and Lego. That's what I'm hoping for. Fingers crossed I get some in the next box.

Final Score: 3/5 - I have some pretty solid Christmas gifts from this box, but I'm selfish and would have preferred more things for me. haha.
