American Horror Story: Cult 7x05

Holes

For the love of The Fast and Furious Franchise

I recently watched all 8 (yeah there are 8 of them) Fast and Furious films from end to beginning. I know, a strange thing to do, but it made me realize something. These movies tell one of the best love stories the screen has seen in the 2000's. Laugh if you want, but I would kill to have a love like Dom and Letty. Watching it in reverse really showed how much this couple have been through for each other and for their family. The Fast and the Furious 2001 Directed by: Rob Cohen Rated: PG-13 Run-time: 1 hr. 46 mins. Where it all began.  The story of undercover cop Brian O'Connor (Paul Walker) trying to figure out who is pulling some pretty petty small thefts through vehicular hi-jacking.  He infiltrates the world of LA street racing and meetings Dominic Torretto (Vin Diesel).  Fast cars, women in skimpy clothes and techno heavy soundtrack, this first installment was a non-stop thrill ride. The street racing, the lifestyle, the cars.  It all seemed a place I wanted to ...

General Hospital: a lifelong tradition

I have been a fan of General Hospital all of my life. I have been watching it as long as I can remember. My mom was a fan and we would watch together. Throughout college, and my adult life, I remained a loyal GH fan. As the soap industry starts to dwindle and fade, I am riveted once again to the halls of General Hospital and all the doctors, nurse and mob bosses that reside in Port Charles. The 80's and 90's were probably the hey day of the soap industry. At one point in the late 90's I think I was DVR'ing at least four a day. I was an All My Children, Sunset Beach, Passions, One Life to Live, Another World, General Hospital and Days of Our Lives fan. Some I would watch every day, and some I would watch occasionally. As the shows started to be canceled one by one and disappeared from my tv screens, General Hospital remained at the top of my watch-list. In April of 1963, General Hospital opened its doors. Over time the stories of the nurses and doctors that roa...

Thor Ragnarok

Whose Who in Ragnarok: Directed by: Taika Waititi Written by: Eric Pearson, Craig Kyle & Christopher Yost Chris Hemsworth - Thor Tom Hiddleston - Loki Cate Blanchett - Hela Mark Ruffalo - Bruce Banner Idris Elba - Heimdall Jeff Goldblum - Grandmaster Tessa Thompson - Valkyrie Karl Urban - Skurge Coming soon in the MCU Black Panther - Feb 2018 Avenger’s Infinity War - May 2018 Ant-Man and the Wasp - July 2018 Captain Marvel - March 2019 Avengers 4 - May 2019 Spider-Man Homecoming 2 - July 2019 What did I love? Simply put, everything about Tessa Thompson. I have seen Ms. Thompson in other things before, but not quite like this. I first saw her on Veronica Mars as Wallace’s girlfriend Jackie. I didn’t really like her, but always thought she was a talented actress. Apparently, she is also on Westworld, but I have not watched it yet. She is a bad-ass in Ragnarok. I loved her. The strength, the moves and she looks fantastic. I can’t wait to see more from her. She...

October Ipsy Glam Bag Unboxing

Ipsy 5 beauty products a month Only $10 a month Free Shipping in the US I really like this month’s bag. It is Halloween themed. The little tiny bat on the zipper is just precious. The maroon lace detailing on the bag is a huge step up from last years Halloween disaster of a bag. Well done Ipsy. Well done. Pretty Woman Nail Polish - Wine with Ice, Garçon I love getting nail polish! It’s one of my favorite items to receive. I’ve gotten polish from this brand, Pretty Woman before. This color is a deep red wine color. It is beautiful. Perfect for vampy Halloween time. It went on smooth, and only took a few coats. Score: 10/10. This is a home run for me. The size, the color. I love it.  Meech and Mia Loose Eyeshadow in Purple You can never have too many eyeshadows right? I am hoping that is the case because I have sooooo many! This loose eyeshadow is a great sample size and the pigmentation to the color is gorgeous. I can’t wait to add this to ...
